Aims and scope
Journal of Health, Population and Nutrition brings together research on all aspects of issues related to population, nutrition, and health. The journal publishes articles across a broad range of topics including global health, maternal and child health, nutrition, common illnesses, and determinants of population health.
The journal considers all aspects of global health, and includes but is not limited to, the following sections:

Non-communicable diseases (NCDs) are a major obstacle globally to achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), especially in low and middle-income countries (LMICs). We welcome any work within the overall theme, including systematic or narrative reviews, original research, and unique clinical cases.

Cross-Journal Collection: Elimination of infectious diseases of poverty as a key contribution to achieving the SDGs
Journal of Health, Population and Nutrition is taking part in a new cross-journal collection that aims to demonstrate the validity of communicable disease elimination as a key contributor to achieving Universal Health Coverage and the SDGs.

Cross-journal collection: World AIDS Day
December 1st marks World AIDS Day, a globally recognized occasion dedicated to raising awareness of the AIDS pandemic and mourning those we have lost. Journal of Health, Population and Nutrition has joined AIDS Research and Therapy, Annals of Clinical Microbiology and Antimicrobials, Reproductive Health, Retrovirology, Virology Journal. in a collection focused on exploring the effects and consequences of long-term HIV infection, advances in treatment, epidemiological studies and global health, and more.

Cross-journal collection: Enhancing access to and uptake of contraception in low-and middle-income countries
Contraception and Reproductive Medicine, Reproductive Health, and Journal of Health, Population and Nutrition welcome papers focusing on contraception in low and middle-income countries to celebrate World Contraception Day. This cross-journal collection aims to curate multidisciplinary papers focusing on LMICs that explore and promote improving access to contraception, particularly amongst adolescents with a particular focus on health policy and systems that can promote contraception uptake.
