Table 1 Significant lifestyle and dietary factors used in the univariate analysis. The univariate analysis was carried out to rule out the factors that are deemed to be important to be further analyzed using the multivariate analysis. The odds ratio between the diabetic patients and healthy controls was compared. The 95% CI value was obtained between the cases and the control with a significant value of p (< 0.05)
