Vegan

Eat meat, fish and dairy less than once

monthly

Lacto-ovo vegetarian

Eat meat and/or fish less than once monthly,

and dairy more than once monthly

Partial vegetarian

Includes pesco-vegetarians, who eat meat

less than once monthly and fish at least

once monthly, and semi-vegetarians,

who eat meat at least once monthly and

fish and meat less than once weekly

Non-vegetarians

No specific dietary restrictions as to

frequencies of meat, fish and dairy
